Humane Society partnering with non profits.

I wanted to share that at a recent Association of Fundraising Professionals Meeting I learned that the Humane Society is looking for non profit organizations to partner with.  The reason for the interest in partnering is a program in which the Humane Society will be teaching individuals who have disabilities to train their own dogs.  I thought this was a wonderful idea.  A great opportunity for people, who have the need, to receive a dog, and an excellent way for the Human Society to place animals that so desparately need a home.
