Welcoming New Friends: MSSS and ACRC
As of July 1, 2010, United Cerebral Palsy Community Living and Support Services (UCP/CLASS) and the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society (MSSS) will announce their merger when MSSS becomes a division of the services offered through UCP/CLASS. UCP/CLASS and MSSS have both been serving people with disabilities for more than 50 years.
UCP/CLASS also officially announces the beginning of a successful collaboration with the Alliance for Community Respite Care (ACRC). After discussions with members from both UCP/CLASS and ACRC’s Board of Directors an agreement was made to envelop ACRC into UCP/CLASS. ACRC will be a separate service system under the broader scope of UCP/CLASS and its other programs and services.
UCP/CLASS is very excited to welcome MSSS and ACRC to become a part of our agency. Please come to the annual meeting to celebrate these new and wonderful ventures with us.
