Last Tuesday, November 8, 2011, I attended Monte Carlo Night at the University of Pittsburgh. I had a lot of fun at this event because I was able to mingle with a new people from Pitt’s National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). One person I hung out with was Jeff and his friend Nicole. Nicole helped me get some of the delicious food. The pepperoni pizza was my favorite. Nicole also helped me play some of the games at Monte Carlo, such as “Texas Hold’em,” “Black Jack,” and “Roulette.” At the beginning of the night, my luck was running short; however, once I met up with Jeff I started to win. We were planning Roulette and Shannon’s husband was spinning the wheel, and we were able to win a lot of chips. In fact, I won a $10 gift card to Subway in a raffle at the end of the night. I hope to get use my gift card soon.
