The New Year

Now I know Christmas has yet to arrive, but I can’t help but to think of the New Year with all of its fun festivities, like eating sauerkraut, Kabassi,  and mashed potatoes, and making resolutions. While sometimes it’s hard to get out for New Year’s Eve, I always make the effort to have fun. This year I hope to see the new Muppets movie out in theaters with my family. I’m not sure if it’s possible for my family to drive all the way to Pittsburgh to visit me, but either way, I plan on enjoying the New Year with people I care about.

With Christmas right around corner, I can’t help but to get excited about the upcoming Christmas party that my house throws. One really cool aspect about our tree is that it rotates—allowing everyone to see all of the ornaments hung up.

Memorial Services

Today at UCP/CLASS, a memorial service was held for Darryl, one of my close friends. When Darryl came to UCP, he always had a smile on his face. He was kind to everyone and had a positive attitude, despite some of his life circumstances. Darryl loved all sports, especially football. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
