Matthew Perkins has been part of UCP/CLASS for the past 9 years. Throughout his career with the organization, Matt has served as the Service Coordinator for the attendant care program, Waiver Specialist for the Administrative Entity (AE) within the Community Services Program for Persons with Physical Disabilities (CSPPPD), and the AE Project Director for CSPPPD. Matt currently serves as the Director of Community Services Activities. In this new position, he will be responsible to manage supports coordination for the CSPPPD program for CLASS’ Allegheny and Erie County offices, to oversee the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation (PATF) by educating and informing people of the resources available from the PATF, and to explore other areas that UCP/CLASS can make a difference in the community to create a “Community Where Each Belongs.”
Matt is a member of the Forms Committee and the Pennsylvania Brain Injury Association. He also participates in the Provider Coalition and has participated in the OBRA and Independence Waiver renewal workgroups. Matt is also working towards becoming an ordained minister. Prior to joining UCP/CLASS, Matt has worked with the area agency on aging.
Matt has a B.S. in Health Services Administration and an M.S. in Health Education from Slippery Rock University.
