Jack Snook

 Jack Snook has been with UCP/CLASS for 29 years. Throughout his involvement with UCP/CLASS, he has held a variety of positions within the agency. Starting as a personal care attendant, Jack has also provided residential supports and supervision, life skills training, and now serves UCP/CLASS as the Director of the Centre Services.

As a trainer in Body Mechanics and Transferring Skills, Jack works closely with CCAC to provide a training program to teach individuals the skills they would need to serve as personal assistants to individuals with disabilities. Jack also teaches similar classes to new employees who are entering the UCP/CLASS family as part of the New Staff Orientation. As part of his duties, Jack serves on various committees at UCP/CLASS including the Safety and Wellness Committee, Forms Committee, New Employee Orientation Committee, and plans the holiday party.

Currently he is an active member of the BRAINSTEPS team, a school re-entry program for children who acquire a brain injury. He is also very involved in providing IEP consultations to assist students, families and School Districts with the transition process as students transition from high school to adult services.

Jack is a graduate of La Roche College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology. In his free time, he likes to spend time with wife and daughter.
